ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at whether a special type of training called "attentional focus training" can help older adults improve how they control their movements, especially when using their eyes and hands together. The study will compare this training with another type of activity to see which one works better for improving balance and movement.
People who are 65 years or older and can walk indoors on their own for at least 40 meters might be eligible to join. They should have fairly good vision and thinking skills, and not have serious untreated health problems like stroke or Parkinson’s disease. Participants will also have some balance difficulties but not severe enough to make the training unsafe. If you join, you can expect to take part in exercises focused on improving attention and movement control, which could help with walking and balance. This study is just starting and is not yet recruiting participants.
