ClinConnect Summary

This study, called the ITACARE-P CardioRehab Registry, is looking at how cardiac rehabilitation programs are used in Italy for people recovering from heart problems like coronary artery disease or heart failure. Cardiac rehabilitation is a special program that helps patients get stronger through exercise, learn healthy lifestyle habits, and receive emotional support. These programs are known to help people recover better, avoid future heart issues, reduce hospital visits, and improve overall quality of life. This study collects information from patients as they go through their usual rehab care to understand how these programs work in real life, how patients do over time, and to find ways to improve heart care across the country.

Adults who have recently had heart problems and are eligible for cardiac rehabilitation can take part, whether they attend rehab in a hospital or as outpatients. Participants will be followed for up to a year, with check-ins at 6 and 12 months to track their health, quality of life, and progress. Joining the study doesn’t change the treatment patients receive and involves no extra risks. Personal health information is kept safe and confidential. The goal is to make cardiac rehab more effective and fair for all patients in Italy.
