ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the connection between thyroid problems and type 2 diabetes in patients from Upper Egypt. The researchers want to understand how blood sugar levels, cholesterol, and thyroid hormones behave in people who have type 2 diabetes. This information might help doctors better manage these conditions together in the future.
If you have type 2 diabetes, are over 18 years old, and live in Upper Egypt, you might be able to join this study—especially if you don’t have type 1 diabetes, autoimmune thyroid diseases, are not pregnant, and are generally healthy at the time of the study. Participants will likely have blood tests to check sugar, cholesterol, and thyroid hormone levels. The study is not yet recruiting, but if you qualify and choose to join, you’ll be helping researchers learn more about how these health issues are connected.
