ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new computer software called TAVIPILOT that helps doctors place a heart valve more accurately during a minimally invasive procedure called transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). TAVI is used to treat severe narrowing of the aortic valve, which affects blood flow from the heart. The TAVIPILOT software uses special imaging and artificial intelligence to give real-time guidance and show important landmarks inside the heart, aiming to improve the positioning of the new valve and make the procedure safer and more precise.
The trial is looking for adults aged 65 and older who need TAVI through a blood vessel in the leg (transfemoral approach) because of severe aortic valve narrowing. If you take part, your doctors will use the TAVIPILOT software during your valve replacement to see if it helps with valve placement and if it is safe to use. This study is still in the early stages and is not yet recruiting participants.
