ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a way to predict health problems in pregnant women who have aplastic anemia, a rare condition where the bone marrow doesn’t make enough blood cells. This condition during pregnancy is very risky for both the mother and baby, leading to issues like heavy bleeding, infections, early birth, or poor baby growth. Since there is currently no tool to help doctors foresee these problems, this study aims to develop a model that can better identify which women might face complications, so they can receive timely care.
Women who might join the study are those who either had aplastic anemia before getting pregnant or were diagnosed with it during pregnancy. To be eligible, participants need to be at least 20 years old, have certain blood test results available, be pregnant with a single baby, and have continued their pregnancy beyond 20 weeks. The study will collect and analyze information from several hospitals to build this prediction model. Although the trial is not yet enrolling participants, it hopes to improve care and outcomes for mothers and their babies facing this rare but serious condition.
