ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different methods to help improve healing and tissue health when placing dental implants immediately after removing a damaged tooth. The researchers are comparing the use of something called L-PRF (a treatment made from your own blood to help healing) versus using connective tissue grafts (tissue taken from another area of your mouth) along with a customized healing cap placed on the implant. This is aimed at people who have gum recession, bone loss in the jaw, or related dental issues.
To join this study, participants need to have a specific type of tooth (like a central incisor, canine, or premolar in the upper jaw) that cannot be saved and must have enough healthy bone and good oral hygiene to support an implant. Smokers and people with certain health problems, infections, or pregnancy cannot take part. If eligible, participants can expect careful planning with imaging scans and treatment involving immediate implant placement using one of the two healing methods. The trial is currently recruiting, so if you fit the criteria and are interested, this study might be an option to help improve dental implant results.
