ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at whether a special breathing technique called the scalene hold relax technique, when combined with regular physical therapy exercises, can help improve lung function in people with asthma. The goal is to see if adding this technique provides extra benefits compared to usual treatment alone.
The study is open to both men and women between the ages of 20 and 44 who have been diagnosed with allergic asthma. However, people with other health problems like heart disease, diabetes, or mental health conditions that might affect their ability to follow the study plan won’t be eligible. Participants will be asked to try the scalene hold relax technique along with conventional exercises, and the researchers will monitor any changes in their breathing and lung function. This study is not yet recruiting, but it aims to find new ways to help people manage asthma better through physical therapy.
