ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is comparing two different treatments for neck pain caused by "text neck syndrome," which happens when poor posture from looking down at phones or other devices leads to neck discomfort. The study is looking at how well McKenzie exercises, a set of movements designed to ease neck pain, work compared to Mulligan mobilization, a hands-on therapy that helps improve neck movement and reduce pain.
People who might join this study are adults aged 20 to 45 who spend at least three hours a day using smartphones and have been using electronic devices for over a year. Participants should have a specific neck posture measurement indicating text neck but should not have other health problems like arthritis, neck injuries, or heart and nerve conditions. If you join, you can expect to receive one of the two treatments and have your neck pain and function monitored. This study is currently looking for volunteers, so if you fit the criteria and have neck pain related to device use, this could be an opportunity to try new ways to feel better.
