ClinConnect Summary
This study is looking at how different social and personal factors affect the health and quality of life of Black men from Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The researchers want to understand how experiences related to moving to the U.S., along with issues like race, community support, environment, and access to healthcare, influence their cancer care and life after treatment.
Men who might be eligible to join are those who identify as Black or African American, come from Sub-Saharan Africa or the Caribbean, have been diagnosed with prostate cancer within the past 10 years, are at least 18 years old, live in the U.S., and can read and write in English. Participants will share their experiences to help researchers learn more about the challenges and needs of this group.
