ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new program called PROMOTE, which aims to help pregnant patients get better support at work during their pregnancy. The study will look at whether PROMOTE helps doctors talk more often with their patients about workplace accommodations—changes that can make working easier and safer while pregnant—and whether this leads to better health for both the mother and baby. The researchers will compare patients whose doctors use PROMOTE with those who receive usual care, to see if it reduces problems like losing pay or job opportunities and increases the chances that workplace accommodations are granted.
Pregnant patients between 24 and 32 weeks along who are working or looking for paid work may be eligible to join, as long as they speak English. Participants will be part of surveys and interviews about their work experiences during pregnancy, and their health information will be reviewed to see how well PROMOTE works. This study is not yet recruiting, but it hopes to include people from diverse backgrounds to better understand how to support pregnant workers. If you join, you can expect to share your experiences and help improve care for pregnant patients balancing work and health.
