ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a program called the HOPE intervention, which aims to help people with type 2 diabetes increase their daily physical activity by taking more steps each day. The goal is to see if this approach can encourage healthier habits and improve fitness.
People who are 18 years or older, living in the United States, and have been told by a doctor that they have type 2 diabetes may be able to join. Participants also need to have a smartphone or device with an app that can track their step count. However, if someone is currently using insulin or certain weight loss injections, they would not be eligible. If you join, you can expect to take part in activities designed to motivate and support you in walking more throughout your day. This study is currently looking for volunteers of any gender between the ages of 65 and 74 to participate.
