ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at ways to improve the mental health and overall quality of life for adults living in rural Texas. It compares two approaches using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a type of talk therapy that helps people manage their thoughts and feelings. One group will receive standard CBT, while the other group will get CBT plus two extra check-in phone calls each week to provide more support.
This study is open to family caregivers who are caring for someone with any type of dementia. To join, participants must not be involved in any other clinical treatment programs. If you join, you can expect to take part in therapy sessions and, for some, receive regular phone calls to check on your progress and offer additional help. This study is currently recruiting adults of all genders between the ages of 18 and 76. The goal is to see if adding regular check-in calls can make a real difference in mental health and daily life for caregivers living in rural areas.
