ClinConnect Summary
This study is looking at people with Alzheimer’s disease to understand what affects their thinking and memory scores when they first come to the clinic, and what might predict a faster decline over one year. Researchers will review past medical records from patients seen at the Memory Clinic of Gonesse Hospital. They will look at factors like age, education, medical history, nutrition, mood, and how much stress their caregivers experience. The goal is to learn more about what influences early memory and thinking abilities and how quickly these skills change, which could help doctors provide better care and support for patients and families.
To be part of this study, patients need to have a confirmed diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and have had at least two memory tests (called MMSE) done 12 months apart at the Memory Clinic of Gonesse. People with other types of brain diseases or those who have moved away from the clinic’s area cannot join. Since this study uses existing medical records, participants won’t need to attend extra visits but will help improve understanding of Alzheimer’s disease progression. This research is not yet recruiting patients but hopes to offer valuable insights for planning care in the future.
