ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at whether attending childbirth education classes together as a couple can help pregnant women feel more supported by their partners, reduce their fear of giving birth, and increase their confidence about the process. The goal is to see if learning about childbirth with their spouse helps expectant mothers feel more positive and secure as they prepare to have their baby.
Women who are at least 18 years old, more than 20 weeks pregnant, and expecting one baby are eligible to join. Participants should have at least finished primary school and, if they’ve given birth before, they must have had a vaginal delivery. Those interested will attend childbirth education sessions with their partners and share how this experience affects their feelings about childbirth and support from their spouse. The study is currently looking for participants who meet these criteria and are willing to take part.
