ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new computer system designed to help doctors diagnose and treat a condition called thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy (TAO), which affects the eyes and is linked to thyroid problems. The system uses advanced technology to analyze different types of information about the eyes, helping to identify the stage and severity of the condition. It also aims to assist doctors in choosing the best treatment and predicting how patients might recover over time.
The study is looking for two types of volunteers: people who have TAO and those without any eyelid problems to serve as a comparison group. Participants need to be willing to cooperate with the study and should not have any other eye issues like pupil or cornea disorders, or a history of eye injury. If you join, you may undergo eye exams and have your medical information analyzed by the new computer system. This trial is currently recruiting participants and is open to adults of all genders who meet the criteria.
