ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a learning method called "Gamification-Enhanced Problem-Based Learning" compares to traditional lecturing in helping nursing students improve important skills like critical thinking, self-awareness about their thinking process, and clinical abilities. The study focuses on nursing students in Hong Kong who are in their second year of a nursing diploma program. Researchers want to understand how these skills relate to each other and whether using game-like learning activities can make a difference in how well students learn and apply their knowledge.
To take part, students need to be at least 18 years old, studying full-time in their second year of nursing, able to read and write Chinese, and willing to volunteer. Those who have prior healthcare work experience or are repeating the program cannot join. Participants will join five learning sessions over five weeks using the gamified approach. This study is currently recruiting students who meet these criteria and aims to find better ways to support nursing education.
