ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special removable orthodontic device, called a functional appliance, can help children who have problems with their bite (how their teeth come together) or difficulties with facial muscle functions like breathing, swallowing, and chewing. The goal of the device is to help restore balance in these functions and muscles, which can lead to a healthier and more stable bite over time.
Children who have these bite problems or orofacial (mouth and face) muscle issues that can be treated with this removable device might be eligible to join the study. If you participate, your child would use this orthodontic appliance to see how well it improves their bite and muscle function. It’s important to know that this study is not yet recruiting participants, but when it does start, it will include children who need this type of treatment and exclude those who do not.
