ClinConnect Summary
This study is looking at how well children and their parents cooperate with, feel satisfied by, and think about the effectiveness of removable orthodontic devices called functional appliances. These appliances are special devices worn inside the mouth to help improve how the face and mouth muscles work, which can affect breathing, swallowing, and chewing. The goal is to help children develop a balanced and healthy bite that stays stable over time.
The trial is for patients who have issues with their bite or mouth function that can be treated with these removable devices, along with their parents. Participants will be asked about their experience using the appliance, including how easy it was to use and how well they think it worked. This study is not yet recruiting, but it will include patients of all ages and genders who meet the treatment criteria. It’s important to know that children who don’t need this type of functional treatment won’t be included.
