ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is designed to help researchers learn more about various health conditions like lupus, celiac disease, kidney disease, and certain skin problems, as well as overall health in people without these conditions. The goal is to use the information collected to improve tests, treatments, and possibly find cures in the future. Participants will provide health information, lifestyle details, and biological samples (like blood or saliva), which will be shared with qualified researchers working on these health issues.
Adults aged 18 to 90 (depending on state rules) who have a certain health condition or meet specific health criteria may be eligible to join. Participants need to agree to take part by signing a consent form and be willing to follow the study’s procedures throughout its duration. The study is open to all genders, but people who are prisoners, children, or unable to safely provide samples or information are not eligible. Pregnant women may join under certain safety rules. Overall, joining this study means helping scientists by sharing your health information and samples from the comfort of your home, as this is a minimal risk, “direct to patient” study that doesn’t require frequent visits to a clinic.
