ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring how people who have experienced a depressive episode can keep up regular physical activity after leaving a rehabilitation center. Physical activity is known to help improve mood and reduce symptoms of depression, but many find it hard to stay active once they’re back home. The study aims to understand the strategies and personal skills—like planning activities, managing stress, and building social support—that help people maintain exercise habits over three months after their hospital stay. It also looks at challenges such as fatigue, mood changes, and feeling isolated, to find better ways to support patients in staying active long-term.

The study is looking for adults over 18 who have been diagnosed with depression, completed a rehabilitation program at the Clinique des Portes de l’Eure, and took part in an initial assessment at the Maison Sport Santé. Participants will be interviewed three months after leaving rehab to talk about their exercise routines and what helps or hinders them. The goal is to use these insights to improve support programs, like personalized education and follow-up, so patients can maintain healthy activity habits and improve their overall well-being after depression treatment.
