ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how underwater exercise compares to regular aerobic exercise when it comes to improving muscle strength and overall quality of life. The goal is to see which type of exercise might help women who are feeling tired, have weaker muscles, and a lower sense of well-being feel better and stronger.
Women between the ages of about 65 to 182 (likely a typo, but intended for adults) who have a body mass index (BMI) over 25, experience low muscle strength, feel generally tired, and report a lower quality of life may be eligible to join. However, women with certain conditions like polycystic ovarian syndrome, chronic pelvic pain, or specific back problems are not eligible. Participants can expect to take part in either underwater exercises or regular aerobic workouts, and their muscle power and quality of life will be measured to see which exercise is more helpful. This study is currently recruiting volunteers who meet these criteria.
