ClinConnect Summary
This study is looking at how a special training program, based on the Intentional Relationship Model (IRM), can help occupational therapy students develop better professional skills and improve how they connect and work with their future patients. The goal is to teach students how to build strong, helpful relationships during their training, which is an important part of becoming a good occupational therapist.
If you are a 4th-year occupational therapy student currently doing an internship and can understand Turkish, you might be eligible to join. Participants will take part in one hour of interactive training each week for six weeks, focusing on improving their communication and therapeutic skills. It’s important to attend all sessions regularly, and students with chronic illnesses may not be able to join. This study has not started recruiting yet, but it aims to support students in becoming more confident and effective therapists through this relationship-focused approach.
