ClinConnect Summary

This study is looking at whether practicing mindfulness—a way of paying attention to the present moment with acceptance and without judgment—can help people who are experiencing Long COVID symptoms. Long COVID refers to ongoing health problems that last for at least 12 weeks after having COVID-19. The researchers want to see if mindfulness can reduce stress, lessen symptoms, and improve overall quality of life for those affected.

Adults aged 18 and older who have had COVID-19 and are still experiencing symptoms related to Long COVID may be eligible to join. Participants need to have internet access and be willing to complete online surveys over six months. When someone joins the study, they will be randomly assigned to either start mindfulness sessions right away or wait 8 weeks before starting them. These sessions are recorded and created by the study team, and participants will continue with their usual medical care throughout the study. It’s important to note that people already involved in other Long COVID treatment studies or currently practicing a structured mindfulness program cannot join.
