ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different ways of being physically active might affect sleep quality, mental health, and overall physical well-being in university students who don’t get much exercise. The study will compare a regular weekly exercise program to a "Weekend Warrior" pattern, where most activity happens on weekends, to see which approach helps improve these areas better. Participants will be randomly placed into one of the activity groups or a group that doesn’t change their activity, and their sleep, mental health, and physical health will be checked before and after the program.
To take part, you need to be between 18 and 25 years old, not very active currently (based on a simple questionnaire about physical activity), and able to commit to the whole program and assessments. People who are pregnant, have serious health issues, take medications that affect sleep or alertness, or are involved in another similar program won’t be able to join. If you participate, you can expect to follow a planned exercise routine depending on your group and have your sleep and well-being measured before and after the study. The trial is not yet recruiting, so it’s something to watch for if you’re interested in learning how exercise might help with sleep and overall health.
