ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), a type of scan that creates detailed pictures of the inside of the body, can be used to check how well a transplanted kidney is working without needing a biopsy. Right now, doctors often rely on a biopsy, where a small piece of the kidney is taken to check for problems. However, biopsies can be uncomfortable, carry some risks, and only show a tiny part of the kidney, which might not give the full picture. This study aims to see if MRI, combined with advanced computer techniques like artificial intelligence, can provide a safer, more accurate way to monitor kidney transplant health over time.

The trial is open to people who have had a kidney transplant and are being monitored for how their new kidney is functioning. Participants would undergo MRI scans that help doctors detect signs of transplant rejection or other issues without needing invasive tests. While the study is not yet recruiting, it hopes to improve how doctors track kidney health after transplant, potentially leading to better, personalized care using these new imaging and computer technologies.
