ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying whether a special kind of vision training can help people who have lost part of their field of vision after a stroke. The goal is to see if this training can improve how well they use their vision in everyday life and how they feel about their ability to manage with their vision loss. The study compares people doing this vision training at home with those who receive the usual care without any specific vision exercises.

People who have had a stroke and are experiencing visual field loss, such as hemianopia (where half of the field of vision is missing), may be eligible to join. Participants will take part in the study for 8 weeks, doing vision training exercises at home or receiving standard care. They will have a weekly phone call with the study team and will keep a diary to track their progress. This trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders, and the researchers want to learn more about how vision training might help improve daily activities like driving and overall quality of life.
