ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how different levels of physical activity during the third trimester (the last few months) of pregnancy affect the health of both the mother and baby. Researchers want to understand if being too inactive or doing too much exercise might influence important factors like blood flow to the uterus, the baby’s heart rate, and the baby’s birth weight. To do this, they will track how much physical activity pregnant women do using a questionnaire and by counting daily steps.

Women who are pregnant and interested in joining will be asked to share information about their physical activity and will have their baby’s health monitored during the study. The goal is to learn more about the right amount of activity for a healthy pregnancy, which could help improve guidelines for expectant mothers. If you are pregnant and curious about how exercise might affect your baby’s health, this study might be a good fit for you.
