ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at ways to help people who are experiencing homelessness stop using tobacco products like cigarettes. The study will take place in California, specifically in San Francisco and Los Angeles. It aims to better understand tobacco use in this community and offer support to those who want to quit smoking or using other tobacco products.
People who are between 65 and 74 years old and currently experiencing homelessness may be eligible to join the study. Both men and women can participate. If you join, you can expect to receive help and treatment designed to support quitting tobacco use. Since this is an early phase study, it’s focused on learning how well these approaches might work and how to best provide care to this group. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it hopes to offer valuable support to those who want to live healthier, tobacco-free lives.
