ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether having regular, close check-ins with a doctor during physical therapy can help people with low back pain feel better compared to physical therapy alone. The study is for adults between 18 and 65 years old who have ongoing low back pain caused by mechanical issues, meaning pain related to the muscles, bones, or joints in the lower back. Participants will be divided into two groups: one group will receive standard physical therapy treatments like heat packs, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and exercises to strengthen their core muscles, while the other group will get the same physical therapy plus daily meetings with a doctor during their treatment sessions.
If you join the study, you will have your pain and overall well-being assessed before treatment, shortly after finishing treatment, and again one month later. These assessments will help the researchers understand how your pain, movement fears, mood, and daily function change over time. This study aims to find out if adding close doctor follow-up can improve recovery for people with low back pain. If you have ongoing low back pain and meet the age requirements, you might be eligible to participate once the study begins recruiting.
