ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying ways to help postmenopausal women who experience urinary incontinence, which means having trouble controlling their bladder. This condition is common and can happen due to changes in the body after menopause, like weaker pelvic floor muscles that support the bladder. The study compares two ways of doing pelvic floor muscle exercises: one done through telerehabilitation (which means receiving guidance and support remotely, like through video calls) and the other done with a therapist in person. Both groups will follow the same exercise program to see which method works better in improving bladder control, muscle strength, and overall quality of life.
Women who have gone through menopause and have urinary incontinence may be eligible to participate. If you join, you will be randomly assigned to either the remote or in-person exercise program and will follow a set routine of pelvic floor exercises. This study aims to find out if telerehabilitation can be a convenient and effective way to help women manage their symptoms from home. The trial is not yet recruiting participants but hopes to offer more flexible treatment options for women dealing with this common issue.
