ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how walking patterns and balance can help predict the risk of falling in people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The researchers want to find specific measurements—called cut-off values—that can clearly show who is more likely to fall. By doing this, doctors and patients can take early steps to prevent falls and stay safer. The study will also compare which measurements—walking variability or balance tests—are better at identifying people with MS who are at risk of falling.
The trial is open to men and women between the ages of 65 and 74 who have MS. Participants can expect to undergo tests that measure how steady they are when standing and how their walking varies. These tests help the researchers understand the relationship between balance, walking, and fall risk. If you or a loved one fits the age range and has MS, this study might offer useful information to help manage fall risk through simple assessments.
