ClinConnect Summary
This study is looking at whether a program called Groups 4 Health (G4H) can help improve the well-being of students at the University of Helsinki. The researchers want to find out if this program is effective and worth the cost. They are also interested in understanding how different factors, like stress levels, hormone changes, and even differences in participants’ genes, might affect how well the program works. Both the students taking part and the people leading the groups will provide information through questionnaires and some physical tests before, during, and after the program to help answer these questions.
Anyone who is a student at the University of Helsinki and interested in improving their well-being may be eligible to join. Participants can expect to take part in the G4H group sessions and share information about their feelings, stress, and health through simple tests and surveys over time. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to better understand how social support programs like G4H can promote mental health and what factors might make them more or less effective for different people.
