ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying whether exercise programs done in the community or at home can help people with heart and lung conditions, like heart disease, heart failure, asthma, or other breathing problems. The goal is to see if these exercise routines can safely improve how well the heart and lungs work, while also making it easier for patients to stick with the program and reducing stress on both patients and healthcare resources.

People between the ages of 18 and 85 who have weaker heart or lung function may be able to join. Participants will exercise for 40 to 60 minutes, five days a week, for eight weeks. They can choose activities they enjoy, like walking, swimming, or cycling, and will adjust how hard they work based on how they feel and test results. They will wear fitness trackers to record their workouts and share the information with the study team each week. Importantly, participants won’t need to change their diet during the trial. This study is currently looking for volunteers who want to help find new ways to improve heart and lung health through manageable exercise programs.
