ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well people who have had a stroke can walk backwards and how this ability relates to their leg movement, body awareness, trunk control, and balance. The goal is to better understand what affects backward walking in stroke survivors, which could help improve rehabilitation and daily movement.
The study will include 30 people between the ages of 30 and 85 who have had a stroke within the last 3 days to 2 years. To join, participants need to be able to walk 10 meters without help, have certain levels of leg movement recovery, and score at least 24 on a simple memory and thinking test. During the study, participants will be asked to complete several walking and movement tests that check their leg function, awareness of leg position, control of their trunk (the middle part of the body), and balance. This information may help doctors design better therapy programs for stroke survivors in the future.
