ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new way to improve how computers recognize hand gestures using a special method called High Dimensional Computing (HDC). The goal is to see if this method can identify gestures more accurately compared to other common computer techniques. The study will look at how well the system works by measuring how often it correctly recognizes gestures and how often it makes mistakes. It will also test different numbers and placements of sensors on the body to find the best setup. Participants will be asked to rate how comfortable the device feels and how easy it is to perform the gestures.
The study is open to healthy volunteers of all genders, ranging in age from about 18 to 74 years old. People who take part will have sensors placed on their body to capture hand movements and will be asked to perform certain gestures. The researchers will use some of this data to teach the computer system and the rest to test how well it learned. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but those interested should be aware that comfort and ease of use are important parts of the study.
