ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying whether using earplugs and eye masks can help reduce anxiety for adults undergoing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), which is a type of scan often used to look at injuries to the chest, neck, brain, or joints. The researchers want to see if these simple tools not only lower feelings of anxiety but also affect physical signs of anxiety like heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, and oxygen levels before and after the MRI.

Adults of all genders who have these types of injuries may be eligible to participate, although the trial is not yet recruiting. If you take part, you would wear earplugs and an eye mask during your MRI, and the medical team would check your vital signs before and after the scan. This study hopes to find out if blocking out some noise and light during the MRI can make the experience less stressful and more comfortable.
