ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how aromatherapy—using pleasant-smelling oils—might help women who are in labor and experiencing pain, anxiety (feelings of worry or nervousness), or nausea and vomiting (feeling sick or throwing up). The goal is to see if aromatherapy can make labor more comfortable for these patients.
Women between the ages of 65 and 74 who are in labor may be able to join this study. While the trial hasn’t started recruiting participants yet, those who take part can expect to use aromatherapy during labor to see if it helps with their symptoms. This study focuses only on women in this age group, and it aims to find gentle ways to support women during childbirth.
