- Inclusion Criteria:
- • Adults aged 18 years or older,
- • Signed informed consent,
- • Patients undergoing elective or urgent open abdominal surgical procedures regardless of benign or malignant disease.
- Exclusion Criteria:
- • Presence of primary or recurrent incisional hernia
- • Expected survival \< 12 months.
