Eligibility criteria
- Inclusion Criteria:
- • Patients without mechanical ventilation for more than 72 hours
- • Mucus hypersecretion (defined as the need for suctioning \< 2-h intervals)
- Exclusion Criteria:
- • bronchospasm.
- • Pleural effusion or pneumothorax undrained.
- • Bronchopleural or tracheoesophageal fistula.
- • Neuromuscular disease.
