ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a condition called idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis (IRPF), which is a rare disease that causes inflammation and scarring in the space behind the abdominal organs. Researchers want to understand how the disease affects patients in China and how well different treatments work. To do this, they will collect information from patients across the country using an online database. The study will look at various aspects of the disease, such as symptoms, lab tests, and imaging results, to better understand its characteristics and the outcomes of different treatments.
If you're a man or woman aged 18 to 75 and have been diagnosed with IRPF, you might be eligible to participate. However, this study cannot include individuals with other similar conditions, pregnant women, or those with serious uncontrolled health issues. Participants can expect to share their health information and possibly receive treatment as part of the study. This research aims to improve knowledge and care for IRPF patients, making it an important step toward better management of this condition.
