ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how static magnetic fields, created by a small magnet, affect blood flow and pulse in the arms and legs. Researchers want to see if these magnetic fields can help improve circulation, particularly for those with conditions like arterial stiffness or peripheral artery disease. The study is currently looking for participants aged 18 to 35 who are generally healthy and do not have any known neurological or heart conditions.
Participants in the trial will need to lie still for about 55 minutes while their blood flow and pulses are monitored. It’s important to note that individuals with diabetes, any kind of metal implants, or those who cannot remain still during the procedure will not be eligible to participate. If you or someone you know fits the criteria and is interested in helping advance our understanding of how magnetic fields can impact blood flow, this study could be a great opportunity.
