ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying two different pastes, Guedes-Pinto Paste and CTZ Paste, to see how well they work in treating primary teeth (baby teeth) with a condition called necrotic pulp, where the tooth's inner tissue is dead. The trial will involve children aged 3 to 6 years who have at least one affected tooth that can still be treated. Researchers aim to find out if a simpler treatment method, which doesn't require tools to clean out the tooth, is effective in helping the tooth heal and ultimately stay in place until it's time for it to fall out naturally.

Children who are healthy and have not received antibiotics in the last three months may be eligible to participate. During the trial, the children's teeth will be treated without using instruments, just by cleaning and filling the tooth with one of the pastes. The researchers will check how well the treatment is working by looking for signs of healing, like whether the tooth is still stable and if any infections are present, at the start and again after one, three, and six months. It's important for families to know that this study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide valuable insights into easier treatment options for children's dental health.
