ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of a special knee sleeve called the Reparel™ knee sleeve in helping people with knee osteoarthritis (OA). The main goal is to see if wearing this knee sleeve can improve how well participants can move, how well their knees function, and how much pain they feel compared to a regular (placebo) knee sleeve. Osteoarthritis is a condition that causes pain and stiffness in the joints, and finding better treatments is important for improving quality of life.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between the ages of 36 and 74 and have X-ray evidence of knee osteoarthritis. You should also be looking for non-surgical treatment options. However, if you have had surgery on the knee being studied, have hardware (like screws or plates) in that knee, or if you have serious instability in your knee, you may not be eligible. Participants can expect to wear the knee sleeve for a period of time and will have regular assessments to track their mobility, function, and pain levels throughout the study. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and everyone, regardless of gender, is welcome to apply.
