ClinConnect Summary
The Early Caries Lesion Management Observational Study is looking at a new treatment called Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus (CRFP) to see how well it works in preventing early dental cavities from getting worse. Researchers want to compare CRFP with other common treatments, like silver diamine fluoride and sealants, to see which is more effective at stopping cavities from becoming more serious. They are also checking how CRFP performs against no treatment or other fluoride treatments to see if it helps patients with early dental lesions.
To participate in this study, patients need to have permanent teeth with at least one early cavity that hasn't yet formed a hole (called an "initial" caries lesion). Unfortunately, those with primary (baby) teeth or more advanced cavities won't be included. Participants will have the chance to receive different treatments and will be monitored to see how well these options help in stopping the progression of cavities. This study is currently active, but it is not recruiting new participants at this time.
