ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Fast Track for Wrist and Scaphoid Fractures," is looking at a new, quicker way to treat patients who have single wrist or scaphoid fractures. If you come to the emergency department with a suspected fracture of the wrist or scaphoid bone, you might be eligible to participate in this study. To join, you need to be an adult (at least 18 years old) and able to give your written consent. Unfortunately, if you are pregnant, have an open fracture, or have issues with blood flow or nerves, you won't be able to participate.
If you join the trial, you will experience a streamlined treatment process that aims to get you the care you need more efficiently. The trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders, and it hopes to improve how quickly and effectively wrist fractures are managed. Your involvement could help researchers understand the best ways to treat these types of injuries in the future.
