ClinConnect Summary
The PROMISE study is a clinical trial designed to understand how certain lifestyle factors, like sleep, nutrition, and exercise, can influence fertility and reproductive health in women. Researchers want to find out how these factors before conception can affect both immediate and long-term pregnancy outcomes. This study is currently looking for women aged 18 to 44 who are trying to become pregnant at Northwestern Fertility and Reproductive Medicine. Participants need to be willing to share information about their health and their child's health over a period of up to 25 years and should not have undergone any prior in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments.
If you decide to join the study, you will be asked to provide information about your lifestyle and health, and you'll be followed for many years to see how these factors impact your fertility journey. It’s important to know that women using donor eggs or gestational carriers are not eligible to participate, and all participants must be able to give their consent for the study. This research aims to help improve understanding of fertility and guide future health recommendations for women trying to conceive.
