ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new rehabilitation method for individuals who have experienced a stroke and have difficulty using their hands. The MyHand™ System is a special device created by IRegained Inc. that uses fun and engaging games to help improve hand function. By using this gamified approach, the therapy aims to make the rehabilitation process more enjoyable, encouraging patients to participate actively and ultimately helping them regain better use of their hands.
To be eligible for this study, participants must have had a single stroke at least five months ago. They should not have severe muscle stiffness or other serious conditions that affect their ability to move or feel in their hands. Participants will take part in a total of 30 training sessions, each lasting 2 hours, over 12 weeks. This study aims to find out how this engaging approach to therapy can improve motivation and participation in rehabilitation, leading to better outcomes for those recovering from a stroke. If you're interested or know someone who might be, this trial is currently recruiting participants of all ages.
