ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how two special tools, called decision aids, can help patients with renal cell carcinoma (RCC) make choices about their treatment. The study aims to see if these aids improve the decision-making process and the quality of the decisions made by patients. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with RCC and are currently facing treatment decisions, this trial might be a good fit. Participants should be between the ages of 65 and 74 and must be able to provide written consent to take part.

Those who join the study will have the opportunity to use these decision aids, which are designed to guide them through their options for treatment. It’s important to note that to be eligible, patients need to be diagnosed with RCC and facing a decision related to their care. Unfortunately, individuals who cannot complete a questionnaire or participate in an interview on their own will not be able to take part in the trial. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to make the process of making treatment decisions easier and more informed for patients and their families.
