ClinConnect Summary

The Diabetes Reversal Online Program and Study (DROP Study) is looking at how a 12-week online program focused on plant-based nutrition can help people with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see if this program can help lower blood sugar levels, reduce weight, and improve cholesterol levels. The study is currently recruiting participants and is open to both men and women aged 18 and older who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

To participate, individuals must not have any unstable medical or mental health issues, must be fluent in English, and should be able to follow their current medication routine. Participants will engage in the online program, which will provide nutrition education and support for making healthier food choices. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to improve their health and manage their diabetes through dietary changes.
