ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "FOot CAre and Exercises ImplementatioN for People With Diabetes in Primary Care," is studying a special program designed to help people with diabetes protect their feet and improve their health. Over 12 weeks, participants will join face-to-face group sessions to learn and practice exercises for their feet and ankles. The goal is to see how well this program works in improving overall health and quality of life for individuals living with diabetes, especially those at risk for foot problems.
To participate, you need to be between 29 and 74 years old, have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, and be able to walk independently for at least 10 meters. You should also be available to attend the group sessions. However, if you have certain health issues, like active foot ulcers or major vascular problems, or if you are currently receiving other physiotherapy treatments, you wouldn't be eligible for this trial. If you decide to join, you can expect to take part in exercises that could help keep your feet healthy and improve your overall well-being.
